Time Management and Balance

Hello 6th Grade Families!

It's week 5 and learning how to balance school and life is becoming a more difficult task. The counseling team is here to support students' academic skills and will be working to develop students' ability to navigate home and life balance.

September Lesson

The counselors visit grade level's monthly to deliver classroom lessons. This month's lesson will took place today for 6th grade and the topic is:

Time Management and Balance

During this lesson, we will practice 3 Time Management strategies:

Prioritize
Plan Ahead
Balance

Student did a prioritization activity with their peers and built a hypothetical schedule.

What is the hardest part of time management for you?
What are you top priorities?
What is something you learned in this lesson that will help with your time management?
