We are officially in the "calm before the storm, "the wonderful, festive storm of the holiday season! This week marks a crucial period as we enter the final 10 days of the quarter.
Focus for the Weekend: Checking StudentVue
This weekend is the most important time for your student to log into their StudentVue account and meticulously review their current grades and assignments.
- 10 Days Left: With only ten academic days remaining in the quarter, time is running out to make up any missing work or address grades.
- Please encourage your student to do the following:
- Identify Missing Assignments: Look specifically for grades marked as "Missing," and/or "Incomplete,"
- Complete the Work: Dedicate time this weekend to finish these assignments.
- Communicate with Teachers: Once the work is done, the student must either email the corresponding teacher to notify them of the submission or turn in the physical assignment directly.
A quick check and proactive communication now can make a huge difference in their final quarter grades, allowing them to truly relax and enjoy the upcoming holidays.
Book Fair Next Week!
Students will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair all of next week! This is a perfect chance for them to purchase new reading material to enjoy during the upcoming quarter break. Encouraging reading over the holiday is a wonderful way to keep their minds active.
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring your students finish the quarter strong. We look forward to seeing many of you at the concerts!

Help Support Our Esperero Teachers & Staff!
As part of our continued efforts to support and appreciate our amazing teachers and staff, we’ve created a shared Amazon Wish List filled with classroom supplies, resources, and items that will make a big difference for our school community.
Amazon Wish List:
Why this matters: Many of our teachers and staff go above and beyond, often using their own time and money to make classrooms warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. With your help, we can make sure they have the tools they need, without stretching their personal budgets.
How you can help:
- Browse the Wish List using the link above
- Choose any item you’d like to donate
-
All items will be shipped directly to the school — super easy and no extra steps needed!
- Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference
Thank you for supporting our educators and helping us keep classrooms stocked with the tools they need. Our community makes all the difference!

BASHAS' GIFT CARDS THANK YOU!
A big thank you to the families who have already purchased a Bashas’ gift card! If you haven’t grabbed one yet, it’s not too late. Each $10 reloadable card works like a prepaid debit card, and every time you reload it, Esperero earns 6% back to support our school. Cards can be purchased by sending payment via Zelle to ecmsffotreasurer@gmail.com or by dropping off cash or a check (ECMS FFO) at the front office.
Thank you for your support!

Let’s Celebrate the Class of 2026!
We Need Your Support! The FFO is excited to assist the ECMS Administration to help plan a number of promotion festivities to honor our students' hard work and success. To make these celebrations memorable, we are asking each family to contribute to the promotion expenses. A donation of $40 per 8th grade student is suggested, but any amount you can offer will be greatly appreciated and will directly support the events.
How You Can Help:
Donation of $40 per student helps cover ceremony expenses, promotion party, dinner, entertainment, and an ice cream social.
Payment Options:
NOTE: “8th Grade Promotion & student’s name.”
Additional Contributions: Because not all families have the financial ability to contribute, consider helping our efforts by contributing an additional amount.
Additional contributions of any amount are welcome.
